The “Campaign Chronicle” represents a series of posts on the campaigns of social workers running for office. The purpose of the Campaign Chronicle is to cover the ins and outs of running for office from the perspective a practicing social worker.
Candidates share with Social Work & Politics what they are willing to share about running for office. Anything they do not wish to include in the blog series is excluded. The contents of the “Campaign Chronicle” posts are shared with the candidates in advance for accuracy. However, this blog series is not an endorsement of their candidacies, nor an arm of the candidates’ campaign messaging. It is, again, a chronicle of the experience of running for office as a social worker. Candidates, their volunteers, or associates, are welcome to contact Social Work & Politics to cover their campaigns.
